The Long Vigil
The Order of Death's Vigil sends you after Kymon's Chosen and the Aetherials in roughly equal measure — here's where all twenty bounty targets actually are.
The situation
The mirror image of Kymon's board
Choose the Order of Death's Vigil over Kymon's Chosen and the bounty table flips to match — instead of hunting the Order's people, you're now hunting theirs. Fort Haron, Kymon's own stronghold, becomes the site of four separate bounties. The rest of the board splits between the Aetherial-corrupted farmland near Homestead and the Warden's Laboratory, with a handful of one-off targets rounding things out.
There's a small mechanical bonus here too: several Order bounties grant a temporary weapon enchantment on acceptance, since necromancers apparently believe in sending their hunters out properly armed.
The method
Same table, one extra perk
The standard rules still apply
Up to five bounties available at once, one active per faction, and a target only becomes killable for credit once you've accepted the bounty for it.
Some bounties buff you on acceptance
Dominators and The Behemoth, at minimum, grant a temporary weapon enchantment when accepted — Dominators specifically adds Cold damage for about twenty minutes. It's a small bonus, but worth using the bounty's window rather than sitting on it before heading out.
Two bounties are flagged as disabled
Archon Barthollem carries the same “currently disabled” note the Kymon's Chosen table has on its mirrored bounties. If it won't complete no matter how much you search the Tomb, that's the reason.
The board
Where all twenty actually are
Fort Haron — Kymon's Chosen targets
- Blade Maidens — flame-wielding Kymon's Chosen fighters found throughout Fort Haron.
- The Skybreaker — Sister Bravna, in the interior of Fort Haron.
- Horvald Shieldbreaker — found inside Fort Haron.
- Olga Flamebearer — found in the outdoor section of Fort Haron.
The Necropolis
- Corpse-eaters — Ghoul Corpse-eaters, found in the Black Sepulcher.
- The Decayed — Gravvis, also in the Black Sepulcher.
- The Bloodlord — Bloodlord Thalonis, located in the Seal of the Loghorrean.
The Warden's Laboratory
- Wrathfire — Halvastra Wrathfire, with three spawn points in the Inner Laboratory section.
- The Ascended — Barrostrandt, with six possible spawn points across the Living Quarters, Abandoned Storerooms, Underground Jail, and Hidden Laboratory.
- The Warden's Slaves — two targets: Gethrand in the Living Quarters, Zanbrandt in the Underground Jail.
The farmland approaches — Gruesome Harvest and The Conflagration
- Aetherial Vanguard — Fleshwarped Vanguards, found between the Rotting Croplands and the Gruesome Harvest, as well as The Conflagration, Prospector's Trail, and Asterkarn Road.
- Dominators — Aetherial Dominators, found in the Withering Fields and The Conflagration. Grants a Cold-damage weapon enchantment on acceptance.
- The Behemoth — Narroth, with four spawn points in the Gruesome Harvest, concentrated near the road and near the cages at the far end.
The Village of Darkvale and Darkvale Gate
- Cripple the Cult — two targets: Bolvar the Bloodbinder in the Blood Grove, and Zaria the Carver at the devotion shrine near the north end of the Village of Darkvale.
- Karroz's Pet — Narl'Sarroth, with spawn points on both levels of Darkvale Gate.
One-off locations
- Revenant of Death — a Skeletal Knight-type Death Revenant on level 2 or 3 of the Steps of Torment. This is a different enemy from the caster-type Death Revenant found deeper on level 4, so a Skeleton Key isn't required.
- Rolderathis — High Priest Rolderathis, in the Sunken Reliquary, accessed via the Flooded Passage rift.
- Archon Barthollem — located on the second level of the Tomb of Archon Barthollem, beneath Fort Ikon. Currently flagged as disabled.
Delivery bounties
- Chthonic Seal — seals recovered from your stash or farmed in the Blood Grove, though this one is also currently flagged as disabled.
- Ruination — a relic crafted at any Blacksmith, then turned in.
The mixup
Two spots where the board gets confusing
Revenant of Death isn't the same fight as the level-4 caster. The bounty target is a Skeletal Knight-type Revenant on level 2 or 3 of the Steps of Torment — there's no need to craft a Skeleton Key and push to the Chamber of Souls on level 4 to complete it, even though a similarly-named enemy exists down there.
Archon Barthollem and Chthonic Seal aren't broken on your end. Both carry a “currently disabled” note from the wiki. If either won't complete after a thorough search, that's expected rather than a sign you're missing something.
Summary
- The Order of Death's Vigil bounty table works the same as any other — five available at once, one active per faction, no credit before the bounty is accepted.
- Four bounties send you into Fort Haron after Kymon's Chosen fighters, and three more into the Necropolis.
- Three cluster around the Warden's Laboratory, and three more around the Aetherial-corrupted farmland near Homestead.
- The Village of Darkvale and Darkvale Gate account for two bounties, with three more scattered as one-offs.
- Archon Barthollem and Chthonic Seal are both currently flagged as disabled — don't burn time troubleshooting them as if they were working normally.
