Before You Go Believing Everything on These Walls

Sit down a second before you go wandering off treating anything you read in here as gospel.

This tavern's a hobby project, built for the fun of it — not official business for Blizzard, Bungie, Turbine, or anyone else who actually owns the worlds mentioned on these walls. Nothing here is affiliated with, endorsed by, or guaranteed to line up with any developer's actual lore.

Some of what's chalked on these walls didn't come straight from memory. I keep a small conjured thing bound to an inkwell behind the bar — a wisp of borrowed thought I call the Quillwisp — and it lends a hand with the writing when my own runs dry: character bios, region backstories, the odd chronicle. It's quick, and it's clever, but it's no scholar, and it likes a good story a fair bit more than a true one. So details can wander a bit from canon, the way any tale gets taller a few rounds into the telling. Treat it as tavern talk, not a history book.

So read, enjoy, roll your eyes where it's earned, and if something's dead wrong — well, that's what you get taking lore advice from an old barkeep who's had one too many. Take what's useful, leave the rest, and no hard feelings either way.
