Reclaiming Malmouth

The Malmouth Resistance's board is a street-by-street fight to retake the fallen city — here's where all fourteen bounties actually are.

The situation

The last faction, and the most local one

The Malmouth Resistance is the third and final Ashes of Malmouth faction, met in Act 6 once the city itself becomes the battleground. Its bounty table reflects that scope directly — where Coven of Ugdenbog and Barrowholm send you out into the surrounding wilds, almost every Resistance bounty keeps you inside Malmouth's own districts: the Sewers, Crown Hill, the Steelcap District, the Candle District, the Outskirts.

The flavor text leans hard into the siege framing too — nearly every bounty describes the target as something actively obstructing the Resistance's effort to retake a specific piece of the city, rather than a generic monster hunt.

The method

The usual rules, applied to a compact map

01

Standard mechanics apply

Up to five bounties available at once, one active per faction, and a target only becomes killable for credit once its bounty has been accepted.

02

Three bounties don't specify a district at all

Imps, Architects of Flesh, and Regurgitators can all spawn in any Malmouth area. Regurgitators are somewhat concentrated in the Sewers and the Sanctum of Flesh, but the other two are genuinely opportunistic — expect to pick them up while doing something else rather than hunting them directly.

03

Several targets share the same two districts

Stormtitan and Fleshweaver Haraxis both spawn around the Steelcap District and Malmouth Harbor; Ascended and Torraxsteria both cluster in Crown Hill. Running these pairs together saves a repeat trip.

The board

Where all fourteen actually are

No fixed district

  • Imps — six Aetherial Imps, found in any Malmouth area.
  • Architects of Flesh — three targets resembling Aetherial Reanimators, found in all areas of Malmouth.
  • Regurgitators — three Aetherial Regurgitators, found anywhere in Malmouth but most likely in the Malmouth Sewers and the Sanctum of Flesh.

Crown Hill

  • Ascended — Ascended Spellbreakers, most commonly found in Crown Hill.
  • Torraxsteria — a Possessed Human Hero with five spawn points in Crown Hill, all on the second floor of various buildings.

The Malmouth Sewers

  • Blazebarf — Bluggraag Blazebarf, with four spawn points in the Malmouth Sewers.

Steelcap District and Malmouth Harbor

  • Stormtitan — an Aetherial Colossus Hero with four spawn points around the Steelcap District and Malmouth Harbor.
  • Fleshweaver Haraxis — a boss with four spawn points in the same two zones.

The Malmouth Outskirts

  • Blazragarus — four spawn points in the Malmouth Outskirts.

The Candle District

  • Keeper of the Gates — Bollag, with four spawn points in the Candle District. Note that he won't spawn near the drawbridge, where he initially appears during the Someone on the Inside quest.

One-off locations

  • Fleshshaper Hinissius — a boss located in the Ransacked Lighthouse.
  • Fleshwarped Guardians — two targets, Hagalvar and Rodalgar, both located in the northeast of the Fleshworks.

Delivery bounties

  • Sanctuary — a relic crafted at any Blacksmith once you've found the blueprint, delivered in exchange for Tainted Brain Matter.
  • Aetherial Missive — farmed from Aetherial Colossus, Aetherial Fleshshaper, and Human Ascended heroes and bosses around Malmouth, or pulled from your stash.

The mixup

One spot where the board gets confusing

Keeper of the Gates won't spawn where you first met him. If you've already encountered Bollag near the drawbridge during the Someone on the Inside quest, don't expect the bounty to put him back there — he spawns at one of four other points in the Candle District instead.

Summary

  1. The Malmouth Resistance's bounty table works the same as any other — five available at once, one active per faction, no credit before the bounty is accepted.
  2. Three bounties have no fixed district and can turn up anywhere in Malmouth.
  3. Crown Hill and the Steelcap District/Malmouth Harbor pairing each host two bounties apiece, worth running together.
  4. The Sewers, the Outskirts, the Candle District, the Ransacked Lighthouse, and the Fleshworks each account for one bounty.
  5. Sanctuary and Aetherial Missive are the board's two delivery bounties, needing a blueprint and a farmed material respectively.
