Anasteria's Collection
Anasteria's board is almost entirely delivery and crafting work — here's what she actually wants, and where the six bounties that send you hunting actually are.
The situation
A witch who wants specimens, not scalps
The Outcast opens differently than every other faction table. You don't unlock it through reputation alone — you have to complete The Aetherial Witch side quest and choose to side with Anasteria over turning her in. Once her table opens, in Act 4, the flavor of the whole board changes too: fourteen of her twenty bounties are requests for materials or crafted relics for her research, not monsters to kill.
That's the highest ratio of delivery work of any faction. If you've been stockpiling crafting materials and relic blueprints, this is the board where that habit pays off fastest.
The method
Read “something from my collection” as the tell
Standard mechanics still apply
Up to five bounties available at once, one active per faction, and any kill-based bounty only counts once it's been accepted.
Most of this board is a shopping list, not a hit list
Fourteen of the twenty bounties ask for a material you already farm elsewhere (Blood of Ch'thon, Tainted Brain Matter, Ancient Heart) or a relic crafted at any Blacksmith once you have the blueprint. If you're already sitting on a full stash of these, several bounties are free turn-ins the moment they appear.
The relic bounties all share one requirement
Glacier, Squall, Inferno, Corruption, Sanctuary, Guile, Rampage, and Mistborn Talisman each need their blueprint discovered before the relic can be crafted. No blueprint means the bounty sits uncompleted no matter how much you farm — check your blueprint collection before accepting one of these.
The board
What's actually on it
Material deliveries
- Tainted Brain — one Tainted Brain Matter, farmed from Aetherials or pulled from your stash.
- Tainted Brains — the larger version of the same request: three Tainted Brain Matters.
- Blood of Ch'thon — one vial, farmed from Chthonian bosses and heroes or pulled from your stash.
- Bountiful Blood — three vials of Blood of Ch'thon.
- Ancient Heart — one Ancient Heart, farmed or pulled from your stash.
- Beating Hearts — three Ancient Hearts.
Crafted relics — blueprint required
- Corruption, Sanctuary, Glacier, Squall, Inferno, Guile, and Rampage — each a relic crafted at any Blacksmith once you've found its blueprint, then delivered.
- Mistborn Talisman — the same pattern, but also requires a Troll Bonecrusher two-handed mace as a crafting component; one can be bought cheaply from the vendor in Fort Ikon rather than farmed.
The Necropolis
- Nucus'Dal — a Chthonian Harbinger with several spawn points around the Gates of Necropolis, and occasionally inside the Black Sepulcher itself.
Obsidian Throne
- Innu'Garbal — three possible spawn points within the Obsidian Throne void area.
The Gruesome Harvest
- Conastaria — a Possessed Mage Hero with three spawn points near the end of the Gruesome Harvest.
The Conflagration
- Ludia Starfire — a Possessed Archmage with three spawn points in The Conflagration.
Deep floors requiring a Skeleton Key
- Lord Executioner — Alkamos, located in Anguish, the 5th level of the Steps of Torment.
- Harbinger of Chaos — Shar'Zul, located in Entropy, the final level of the Bastion of Chaos.
The mixup
Two spots where the board gets confusing
Eight relic bounties look like kill bounties on first read, but aren't. Corruption, Sanctuary, Glacier, Squall, Inferno, Guile, Rampage, and Mistborn Talisman all name what sound like boss titles, but every one of them is a crafting delivery. If you accept one expecting a fight, you'll spend time hunting for an enemy that was never part of the bounty.
Mistborn Talisman has an extra ingredient the others don't. Beyond the blueprint, it needs a Troll Bonecrusher. Buying one from the Fort Ikon vendor is far faster than waiting for a troll to drop one.
Summary
- The Outcast's bounty table only opens after completing The Aetherial Witch side quest and siding with Anasteria, in Act 4.
- Fourteen of the twenty bounties are deliveries — either a farmable material or a Blacksmith-crafted relic that needs its blueprint found first.
- Only six bounties send you after a living target: Nucus'Dal, Innu'Garbal, Conastaria, Ludia Starfire, Lord Executioner, and Harbinger of Chaos.
- Lord Executioner and Harbinger of Chaos both require a Skeleton Key to reach their targets on the deepest floors of the Steps of Torment and the Bastion of Chaos.
- Mistborn Talisman needs a Troll Bonecrusher on top of its blueprint — buy one from Fort Ikon rather than farming for it.
