The Den

Backstory

Tucked beneath a canopy of rot-black trees somewhere in Sanctuary's deep jungle, The Den is little more than a repurposed cave, one that some forgotten tribe hollowed out long before anyone the hero's allies knew was born. Vines choke the entrance, hiding it well enough that only those who already know the way ever find it.

Inside, the cave has been split into rough sections: a scorched corner for the blacksmith's forge, crude shelving carved into stone for stockpiling supplies, and a scatter of bedrolls where five hired hands make their living. It isn't grand, and it isn't safe from the jungle's other tenants, but it's theirs, a quiet foothold in a place that wants them gone.
