Capital of the Alliance, in the kingdom of the same name.
Backstory
Stormwind has been the Alliance's capital since World of Warcraft launched in 2004, seat of the Kingdom of Stormwind and home to Stormwind Keep, the Cathedral of Light, and the Trade District where most Alliance players get their first taste of a capital city.
It's one of the two original faction capitals, alongside Orgrimmar, and remains a central hub across two decades of expansions.
