Notes
Nazjatar is the drowned remnant of Azshara's ancient night elf empire, sunk beneath the sea by the Great Sundering ten thousand years ago and ruled ever since by Azshara and her Naga. It resurfaced as a playable zone in Battle for Azeroth's endgame content patch.
Descending into Nazjatar meant confronting Azshara directly for the first time in the game's history, and the zone's eerie, pressure-crushed depths made for one of the more visually distinct additions to Azeroth's map.
