Kul Tiras is the ancestral home of the Proudmoore family and one of the Alliance's oldest naval powers, though it withdrew from Alliance affairs for years before Battle for Azeroth brought Jaina Proudmoore back to convince her homeland to rejoin the fight.
Its regions — Tiragarde Sound, Drustvar, and Stormsong Valley — each carry their own flavor of old-world sailor's-tale horror, from witches to sea monsters, making it one of the more atmospheric zones added to the game.
