Ancestral home of the dragonflights, hidden away for ten thousand years — the setting of Dragonflight.
Notes
The Dragon Isles are where the titans first empowered the proto-dragons that became Azeroth's dragonflights, and where the Aspects drew their power long before Deathwing's corruption and the Cataclysm. The Isles sealed themselves away not long after, cut off from the rest of Azeroth for ten millennia.
Their reopening in the Dragonflight expansion brought players face to face with the dragonflights' own history — the primal incarnates, the Titan Forge of Wyrms, and Alexstrasza's efforts to restore what the Isles' long isolation nearly lost.
