Overview
Tamriel is the continent The Elder Scrolls Online is set on, contested by the Ebonheart Pact, the Aldmeri Dominion, and the Daggerfall Covenant during the events of the Interregnum. Every character built on this roster is rooted somewhere on this map — a starting province, an alliance, a guild hall.
This overview is deliberately shallow — one page for the whole world rather than one per province — with a link out to the full map gallery for anything more detailed.

Vvardenfell
The volcanic Dunmer homeland, dominated by Red Mountain.

The mountainous Nord homeland, anchor of the Ebonheart Pact.
