Backstory
Shoushi rises on its own island, separated from the mainland's turmoil by open water and by the discipline of the Sho who call it home. Its dojos and shrines reflect a culture built around training, honor, and reverence for those who came before.
The crossing to Shoushi marked a turning point for Kaldor — a chance to refine a swordsman's craft among masters who treated the blade as much a study as a weapon.
